Rehearsal on Thursday has been extended 7:00 to 8:45. We only have 2 rehearsals until the concert.
The Band is purchasing wind chimes. (We have spent too much time looking for a set to borrow for our concerts. This should solve that issue!)
Concert on Thursday, August 22nd, at Cascade Amphitheater at Cascade Lake Park - 88 23rd Ave. SW - north of Shorewood.
We will load percussion equipment at 4:30 at Lourdes High School. All help will be greatly appreciated!
At 5:45, start placing your chair and music stand on the stage. We will warm up around 6:15 . If you can park in the far parking lot, that would be great. Drive up as far as you can to the Amphitheater to unload and then move your car.
For the Summer concerts, we wear solid colored polo shirts – the default color is royal blue - along with khaki pants or shorts. You will need to bring a folding chair and a music stand. You may want to bring a hat, sunscreen, a water bottle and clothes pins. The Band does have extra clothes pins. There is a room at the Amphitheater to put your case and wagon.
I am attaching a blurb about the concert. The flyer will be coming soon. Please help with advertising. The more in the audience, the better!
